After GLPS

Hi, everyone I;m Dong-in and several people would know that I visited Minsa Highschool's camp which is GLPS. Today is about 50 days after I met our class mates. I really miss them....

Role model princess : Merida

 Disney made more than 10 princesses. For example, there are Snow White, Cinderrela, or Mulan.
The most oldest one is the Snow White and the most latest is Merida. When the time changed, girl's opportunity and expected jobs became different. We also discussed them in the class by presentation. Among the princesses we discussed in class, Merida is the most positive role model for girls growing up today.She had breaked tradition, tried, and calm.
 First, Merida is the most positive role model for girls growing up today because she breaked tradition.
I don't mean that all girls should break trasition but, I don't want them to be blocked whay they want to do by tradition. Today, prejudice of girls are lessened than before in society but there are still some prejudice among women and girl. But, I think that both boy and girl should be on a equal opportunity on society. I hope that if someone tries to block  you from something, say that you have your own opprotunity to choose what we want. Adults are not for us to block us by something, they are just the guildline of our life. So, I think girls should not be blocked on tradition. Merida is a really good example for changing tradition. When she speeched she said that tradition or prejudice can't block her.
 Second,unlike Snow White waited for good boy to come, Merida tried and tried to find a good way to change her fate. We can say that waiting boy and changing one's fate is a bit different, but in common I think that growing up girls should try to do something. When the time goes the opportunity to girls are getting higher, but I think that as their opprotunity grow they should pay more time and try. Merida followed a whip which is a guildline of fate, so she finds a witch. But, the witch gave her a riddle and her mother change to a bear. I think that Merida had a same characteristic like Snow White she might wait and just think about a solution rather than moving. But, in the movie Merida had a challenging characteristic she moved and while she moved she both thought about the answer of riddle. Finally, her mom changes back to a person. I think that other girls should change their characteristic like Merida. Challenge, crash and fight with the problem.
I think that is the best way of solving problem. I want them to be like Merida.
 Finally, Merida is a good role model for growing up girls because Merida is calm. In the second paragraph I said that she's characteristic is a bit confusing and challenging, but in another aspect I want to say that she is also calm. Everyone who don't saw this movie might not agree with my idea. But, in some aspect she are very cautious and calm. Before she started an adventure and followed the whip after she made a plan. Also, when she made her mother get a important carpet she were not planned on her speech but, she was already for the thing and made her little brothers help her. This aspect made her a lot of calm. I think  people not only girls are not very cautious at doing something. So I think every people should follow her calm aspect.
 I think Merida's movie Brave is criticizing a prejudice and expectation on girl. But, Merida even didn't like her expectation she is a good role model for girls. I liked the point that even you don't agree with a idea you can still be one's role model and beloved. I think that movie also tried to show a model that girl should be like. But, I think that rather than just following your role model you should change the aspect to your personnal characteristic

BRAVE

 Everyone, did you saw fantasy movie like Snowwhite,Cinderela,or Mulan? Today, I want to talk about 2012 Disney or Pixar princess Merida. Merida is a princess which is very free and natural. But, different for her characteristics her mom is very strict and think she is so natural. One day, she had to marry but, she didn't like to do it so she escapes away. One time she meets a which and tries to change her fate. So, there were very many problems happened because of her. She thinks her mom should change in the first of film, but next time at the ending she know that she should change too.

 Eventhough she is a bit selfish I think that she is a responsive person.

First, she has a good speaking skill when it is important. In ordinary days she doesn't speak well and she really don't like to speak. However, after her mom changed to a bear and tried to get important thing, she speaked out loud with good manners after very many people. Her speach made many tribes calm and mader her parents impressed. I think that I want to learn her speaking skills.

 Second, she is a very calm  people. After her mom changed to a bear, she were very suprised for a moment but, after Merida and her mom went inside the forest, she was very organized and knowed what she have to do. She catched many fishes to mom and after giving it to her she taught her mom how to catch a fish. When I saw this scene I thought about Adora Svitak's speach that children can teach adults. I think Merida with be a good example that children can teach adult. Also, after she found Mor du' witch is a really big bear she did archery even the bear were following her. Finally, when her dad tried to kill her mother because she looked like a bear he telled her father calmly.

Finally, I think she is responsive because can say her argument well. This makes her fight with her mom, but I think that it is a very good skill on debate. She shows many people that she will never excuse for other opinions and convinces other people in the movie. For example, when her father tried to kill her mother she convinces and even she is weaker than her father she tried to fight with her father to protect her mother too.

 I think that her good responsibility made a exciting adventure. Eventhough, she had many risks and problems I want to follow her. This movie was a good movie because it showed that you should first change rather than waiting other too change. It showed, families love. The most memorable speech of her was "Trash tradition. Destiny is what you make. Tradition can't block you"

Revolution made by children!

 Hi everyone? Today I want to show that children can teach adults. For an evidence I want to show Adora Svitak's speech. I think that Adora Svitak's speech is like a revolution.
 First, revolution suggests a new idea like her speech. She changed the mind that adults are way more better than children on all aspects. Also, she suggested that children should sometimes teach adults too.
 Second, her speech gives us shock like revolution. She showed what children can do for  the world. Also, her original speech shocked me because a young child like her gave this kind of good speech. She gave good examples and many other evidences to show us that children are not worse than adults.
 Third, she stands up against adults who say that she is childish.This is like a revolution too. She says that the word "childish" should be banned. She shows what children are better than adults.
 As I agree, I hope everyone should stop  using the word childish. Being a child is not a bad thing.
 I have some disagreement with her speech. She criticizes about adults so much.  Her speech was kind of depicting adults as ridiculous and funny poeple. She had some rude expressions too. However, I agree with her idea more than I disagree with her. Therefore, I liked the speech.

30 DAYS CHALLENGE.

 Today, I want to introduce about 30 days challenge. 30 days challenge is a challenge you do in 30days.
You could try on easy one or a hard one too.I chose several challenges that I could do in GLPS.
First, I chose reading book everyday. There are several steps for doing it.  The first one is choosing book series. There are book series like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson.
Next, choose how many pages that you will read. I would be 8~10 pages. After reading one series. I will choose another series and read it again.
 Second, I will try to do my best on every work. First, I will trash the mind that it would be impossible and hard, Then, I will think that I can do it and get self confidence. Finally, I'll do the job.
